Today trading is expected between the broad levels of 5040-5195. If the market breaches the level of 5165 on the upper side then the next resistance level will be 5195. But if nifty breaches the support level of 5085 then it may go down till the level of 5040.

Based on the running trading scenario bank nifty future is expected to trade between the broad levels of 9790-10225. Bank nifty futures can go down till the level of 9790 once it breaks the level of 9910. On the opposite side once breaking the level of 10130, it is expected to go upward till the level of 10255. Bank nifty will be trading between the narrow ranges of 9910-10225.

STOCK MARKET ANALYSIS: 18^TH JUN 2012

The SENSEX closed 244 points down at 16,705 and the NIFTY stood at 5,064 down by 75 points.

BSE SENSEX and NIFTY traded in a volatile session on MONDAY and tanked down later as investors faced two important results one from Greek election and another from Reserve Bank of India’s monetary policy. RBI declared the credit policy today and came with unchanged CRR and interest rates and left the repo rate while Greek elections won by pro-bailout democracy party faded the hopes of change in Euro break-up. RBI decision created the pressure over the banks caused the banking sector crashed more than 3 percent led by India’s largest lender State Bank of India tanked more than 4 percent on the session

• TATASTEEL changed 1.19% with 54, 15,812 volumes.
• BAJAJ-AUTO changed 1.14% with 3, 27,747 volumes.

• DLF with volume 68, 34,603 and changed -4.72%.
• SBIN with volume 53, 58,396 and changed -4.40%.
• PNB with volume 8, 68,498 and changed -4.02%.
